A regional alliance to promote sustainability and facilitate extended producer responsibility across the MENA region. The collaboration aims to create joint collection and recycling initiatives and introduce innovations for hard-to-recycle plastics.
Development Inc.'s Scope
– Work together on sustainability initiatives in 22 countries.
– Facilitate extended producer responsibility in countries including Egypt, KSA, UAE, Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
– Invest in recycling infrastructure and work on completing R-PET regulations for food-grade packaging.
– Create incentives for the public and F&B locations to encourage recycling.
